Hello and welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. We’re Next Step Contracting LLC, a family-owned business proudly based in Indiana, serving Indianapolis and the surrounding counties. Our passion is helping homeowners bring their visions to life through fence installation, deck building, lawn care, and landscaping.

We’re a small but mighty team led by Aaron Franklin, owner and skilled contractor with over 12 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Alongside him is his fiancée, Kaitlyn Robey, helping run the business side, and their son, AJ, who already loves tools and trucks—maybe a future boss in the making!

Why We Started

After working over a decade in this field, Aaron knew it was time to take the leap and build something of his own. Not just for himself, but for his family—and more importantly, to set an example for our son, AJ. We wanted to create a business rooted in strong values: work ethic, honesty, and genuine care for others.

Next Step Contracting LLC was born in 2024, and we hit the ground running with one goal: to do right by our customers and our community.
